Although a 1080p image buffer with higher frame rates are appreciated, we wonder why a checkerboard 4K with 30fps wasn’t implemented. Surprisingly, Sniper Elite 4 does not have a 4K mode it renders the game in native 1080p even if you play it on a 4K TV.

The Pro version also benefits from improved lighting, faster loading times, increased draw distance, increase geometry level of detail, improved shadows, and increased image quality on reflections. There are frame rate drops here and there but overall, the performance is way better on the PS4 Pro. On the PS4 Pro we see a 60fps cap and for the most it does manage to hold that target. The performance for the most part doesn’t feel bad but a locked 30 fps cap would have been definitely appreciated. This is because Sniper Elite 4 runs at an unlocked frame rate on the PS4. Nearby objects sometimes take a bit of time to load and the overall the game’s performance feels a bit off. However the PS4 version suffers from aliasing issues. Both versions run at a native 1920 X 1080 resolution resulting into decent image quality overall. If you are a console gamer then you should be playing Sniper Elite 4 on the PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 4 Pro. For a game that doesn’t really have a big budget than your usual AAA game, this is indeed a remarkable achievement by Rebellion. There is a sense of verticality to them instantly reminding us of 2015’s Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. But more than the size, it’s the intriguing design applied to them. Developer Rebellion claims that these maps are multiple times bigger than the ones found in the previous games and boy, they are indeed huge. This is primarily due to the game’s huge maps. Taking a deep breath as your aim reticule gets smaller and smaller and then finally pulling the trigger to see that perfect cinematic shot of a head blown to bits never gets old in a Sniper Elite game but with the fourth iteration, it’s even more satisfying. Hopefully it works for you guys too if you're still having this problem. There’s nothing quite as satisfying as popping a bullet in someone’s head using a sniper rifle from a really long distance in a video game and this is what Sniper Elite 4 is all about. I can't believe all this time it was so simple. This is how I did it, after looking up stuff online all day trying to fix it with little luck. (I don't know if turning it off is crucial but I did it just to be safe lol) Turn your PS4 on again, open Sniper Elite 4, go to your dlc missions and try playing Deathstorm Part 2. Install it, then wait for it to finish before turning off your PS4. Find it in your notifications from the main screen and after it's finished downloading it should say it's waiting to be installed. Just press X and the add-on should be downloaded again. It doesn't say "download again" but that is what the two dots and an arrow mean. Use the up or down arrows on your controller to highlight Deathstorm Part 2: Infiltration. Press X again and you should get a list of all the add-ons that you have purchased or had the codes for. That should bring up a menu where the first box is "Your Add-Ons". Press the down arrow until the PlayStation Store icon is highlighted and press X. Turn your PS4 on and find the Sniper Elite 4 game icon on the main screen. When you have the icon highlighted, press the down arrow button on your controller to bring up an options menu, this menu should include the PlayStation Store at the bottom.

If you don't know how to do this (because I sure didn't until I looked it up!), I'll go through the steps below:

You've just got to re-download and install the dlc. After doing this Deathstorm Part 2 finally became playable for me, no more of this half black half white screen issue. Hey again guys, I think i've found the solution.
